New Question Types (2025)
1. Summarize Group Discussion
- Task: Listen to a 2-4 speaker discussion (about 3 minutes)
- Response: Deliver a 2-minute oral summary
- Skills Tested: Listening comprehension, content selection, oral fluency
- Tips: Take notes on each speaker's main points, identify agreements/disagreements
2. Respond to a Situation
- Task: Listen to/read an everyday scenario (up to 60 words)
- Response: Speak a natural, contextual response for 40 seconds
- Skills Tested: Spontaneous speaking, appropriate register, practical communication
- Tips: Use appropriate formality level, be specific and relevant to the situation
